Good question, Jasmine. My elves will usually sneak in a make sure kids are well asleep before I make my way over. I try to be as quiet as possible on my way down chimneys and stairs, but I have to admit I drop a few things here and there.
he's headed to Antalya, Turkey!
next stop, Beirut, Lebanon!
Fun fact: In Lebanon, Santa Claus/Father Christmas is known as Baba Noël.
Very very many Rohaan! There are some born every minute in fact! :)
Yay, it's so much warmer here in Jordan :)
Santa is on a roll tonight! less than a minute until he is in Jerusalem, Israel
Seems like Santa dropped something from his Sleigh here as we're nearing Jerusalem.
I agree Correspondent Elf! I am liking these temperatures from Jordan to Jerusalem! Almost 50F!
He's back on his sleigh, no worries. We're heading to Jerusalem now. SHALOM!
Hey Santa, check to see if the reindeer have enough carrot fuel when you stop in Bethlehem, Palestine next please!
Will do, command centre, please keep track of fuel levels correspondent elf.
I am on it, Santa! Rudolph's nose is as red as ever. Indicating sufficient fuel levels.
Santa has delivered almost 3 billion presents already as he heads towards Cairo, Egypt
Correspondent, you thought 50F was nice in Jordan, how about almost 60 degrees in Cairo!!
Fun Fact: In Egypt, Santa is called Baba Noël (meaning Father Christmas).
Oh my, Sunny elf! If it were day time we may have just got some tans! Below is a map of Jerusalem from Google Maps - pretty neat!
I wonder that myself sometimes, Wyatt. They usually rest up from all their duties in the workshop. Some are working just in case there is a last minute change from the naughty to the nice list...so be on your best behaviour this evening!
We're not sure Joni! The weather is quite unpredictable, especially over the Atlantic - stay tuned and go to bed early and we'll make sure to stop by :)
We're arriving in Luxor now :) nice and toasty here in Egypt.
Santa is en route to Khartoum, Sudan next!
Thanks for the weather updates, Sunny Elf. Santa is now in Khartoum, Sudan. Heading for Juba, South Sudan in under 2 minutes.
I don't see why a man can't take some time to appreciate a nice flying machine!
Oh pretty fast, Wyatt! Depends on how big it is. Sometimes if it's really pretty the reindeer will get distracted and slow down, but don't worry - we remind them there's lots of eager children sleeping away and waiting for their gifts to be delivered.
Santa has just left Rwanda, he's now on his way to Burundi.
@Command Centre: We are running into some moderate rain on our way to Burundi. Those puffy white clouds on satellite? Yea, this is the area we are in! Communications may be fuzzy until we clear this area.
Roger that Sunny Elf, we'll do our best to keep track of you. Keep warm and dry!
