KIDS IN JAPAN: GET READY
Meri Kurisumasu (or 'Meri Kuri' for short!)
Hiragana: めりーくりすます
Katakana: メリークリスマス
A traditional delicacy in Japan is Christmas cake which is a white sponge cake covered with cream and strawberries - I AM LOOKING AT YOU SANTA, STAY AWAY FROM IT!
Don't worry - even if I shouldn't have eaten that last bit of shortbread, back home...
I should have put more holes to my belt....ouch!
Better to change topic...er....let's see... DID YOU KNOW THAAAT....because of a very successful ad campaign in the 1970s, going to Kentucky Fried Chicken for Christmas dinner is somewhat of a national custom in Japan. In fact, some stores even take reservations months in advance!
Just passed some islands in the middle of the Pacific belonging to the US!
Just pulled up the current conditions out of Yigo, Guam! We are heading there next and man it is warm and a bit muggy! Dewpoint at 71F and humidity 74%. Air you can wear!!
It's getting increasingly warmer down there!
As we are flying over Papua New Guinea, I'll reveal you how does the Big Man in Red make it around the world in one night... according to NORAD!
"Santa exists in a different space-time continuum than the rest of us. This is how he manages to deliver presents to seven billion people in one night."
“His whole trip may appear to us as taking only 24 hours, but to Santa it may last days, weeks or even months in standard time!”
Truth is... my husband is just awesome!
ahahha pardon him, little Mike! Santa is really sensitive about his age! And gets even touchier while on duty!
Santa he's having a consolation cookie after he got offended for the comment about his age... I am looking after the reindeer in the meantime! :) don't worry!
YOU TRAVELLED MORE THAN 40,000 KM SO FAR. GOOD ON'YA, MATE
@Dylan and Shane let me check for you... I shall be able to sneak my hand inside Santa's pockets and take a peep for you, chaps!
Oh we wish we were with you now Santa! Sydney is such a lovely city!
Heading towards Sydney's archrival, now: Melbourne!
@Joan Smith you see what happens when Santa eats too many Xmas cookies (originally intended for the elves!)
It is clear for miles and miles over Adelaide, Australia! Santa is having NO problems delivering presents here!
You daredevil! You are flying to close to the ground Santa! People almost saw you!
@Command Centre Whoa did you see that airplane! That was a close call!
You will need to stop for an emergency reindeer refuelling! Don't tell us we did not warn you!
Headed for: Dili, East Timor. He'll be there in a couple of minutes.
Guys, I almost dropped my hand held thermometer because of Santa's crazy flying but I did get a reading of 26.6°C as we passed Darwin, Australia!
Let me some room in the sleigh! Oh Santa you should really go on a diet!
The deliveries in Australia took longer than I thought - we will have to hurry up to get back on schedule. Or perhaps skip Europe......
.... NAAAA JUST KIDDIN'!
